Wow, what an absolutely fabulous feeling it is to be writing this blog post in the UK sunshine. It seems summer has come early (for a few days) and I for one am lapping up this surprise sunshine and what better opportunity to try out another LeChat Mood polish. This time I chose one from the new collection a beautiful blush (warm) to periwinkle (cold) combination.
To create this manicure, I applied two easy coats of LeChat Breathtaking. It still always freaks me out when I'm applying thermal polishes with a nude warm transition colour because the coverage always looks weird at first and when applying the second coat it goes on a lighter shade even though the colour on the brush is dark because the polish is cold inside the bottle.
I wanted to see how Breathtaking looked when teamed with glitter and stamping so I applied a sparkly transulcent coat of Magpie Glitter Lilly which is a much loved glitter that works with pretty much every colour. With a colour transition combo such as this one of Breathtaking Lilly worked perfectly with both the blush tone and periwinkle shade but also worked with the in between transition shade so it was the perfect choice.
I also wanted to stamp over this polish with an image that works with both colours and using a polish which complimented and contrasted in equal measure. I used 2True Metalica Athena which is a beautiful steely blue and I picked one of my favorite images from the Moyra Florality 2 plate, a stunning but delicate orchid design.
The combination is seamless, sophisticated and stunning. I absolutely love it!
LeChat Breathtaking is like all of the other LeChat Mood Polishes I have tried is extremely sensitive to both warm and cold temperatures which is great for me as I am generally always cold but still I am often treated to the vivid transition between both colours of this unique mood polish.
So, all in all this is another manicure which I am totally loving and after all the feedback I am sure LeChat Breathtaking will be very popular with my gorgeous clients.
