Silent Sunday: Mentality Gradient Stamping

Hi NaiLovelies!

Who am I kidding, I couldn't be silent or even semi-silent if I tried!

Instead I have a 'Sunday Show & Tell' for you today.  Not a review, just an opportunity to post a shed load of pictures of the same mani in one place.  Don't forget to click on the images if you want to see them larger!

This is Mentality Kablooey, Distinct and Offbeat stamped onto my IBD Perfectly Paisley manicure using MoYou Pro XL 06 plate (which is fast becoming my favourite MoYou image plate) and the gradient stamping menthod.

As you can see, I also added a cute little snake nail charm which I purchased from Hex Nail Jewelry.  I am really impressed with the charms I brought and I love how they can add a little something extra to a manicure.

I love how this turned out.  Thanks Manic Talons for making me realise that I should give this a try.  You're right, it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and I love the results!

Here is a picture in natural sunlight to show some of the holo fabulousness from all of the Mentality polishes I used today.

Perfectly Paisley - IBD Just Gel Polish
Pro XL 06 Image Plate - MoYou London
Snake Nail Charm - Hex Nail Jewelry
Topcoat - OPI

This is the image I used for the stamping.

I saw a post earlier this week by UK Nail Runner (she has such fab nails!) which low and behold informed me that I can easily purchase my beloved Mentality polishes in the UK from Sally Magpies!!!  You don't know how pleased I am about this little nugget of information, no more breaking a sweat waiting for international mail with Royal Mail's newly imposed restrictions on nail polish!

  1. Your gradient stamping is very inspirational--I'm just getting used to stamping simple designs on my gel manicures, but I wouldn't bother if it weren't so easy to correct the mistakes!

    1. Thanks so much!!!

I'm fairly new to stamping myself, I brought my first stamping plates in March '13.

I totally understand where you're coming from with regards to stamping on gel. I would have given up long ago if I'd tried stamping on regular polish. I love that I am able to remove the polish time and time again without ruining my base mani. :)

    1. Thanks so much!! I had loads of fun creating this mani. I love the versatility of regular nail polish, it's such an easy way to update my gel which Id be itching to take off ages ago
